The attacking players provide the clearest guide to São Paulo FC against Santos FC in Brasileirão Série A, with no recent form listed.
São Paulo FC v Santos FC: limiting service is key
São Paulo FC v Santos FCSão Paulo FC should aim to get Luciano and Jonathan Calleri receiving close to goal rather than asking either forward to create everything from deeper positions. Against Gabriel Barbosa and Neymar, denying passes into dangerous central areas would be a sensible priority. Santos FC also have a midfield scoring threat in Álvaro Barreal, so concentrating only on the forwards could leave another route to goal open.
Luciano has eight goals and two assists in 21 appearances, while Jonathan Calleri has seven goals and one assist in 22. Gabriel Barbosa leads the listed scorers with ten goals and two assists in 18 appearances, and Neymar adds six goals and three assists in 12. Álvaro Barreal's five goals and one assist in 21 give Santos FC another player worth watching.
